As the summer sun graces us with its warmth, we hope you are in good health and high spirits! Seasoned Gives is thrilled to bring you the latest updates on our ongoing endeavors and upcoming events.

Our Mission and Values

At Seasoned Gives, our mission is to educate, incubate, and promote financial freedom for the BIPOC community and women. We are dedicated to creating lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and social injustice through education, ownership, and self-sufficiency. We firmly believe that economic justice is an indispensable aspect of the broader social justice movement. Together, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Empowering Initiatives

We are proud to offer a variety of resources to the Ulster County community:

  • Incubator Programs for Entrepreneurs: We provide aspiring entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds with the tools, mentorship, and resources they need to turn their business ideas into reality.
  • Financial Literacy Education Workshops: for Youth and adults, our workshops empower the younger generation with essential financial skills, helping them build a strong foundation for their futures.
  • Support Your Neighbor Program: With this initiative, we extend a helping hand to those facing food insecurity challenges, ensuring that nobody in our community is left behind.

4th Annual Caribbean Carnival - August 12, 2023

Mark your calendars for a vibrant celebration of culture, diversity, and togetherness! Our much-anticipated 4th Annual Caribbean Carnival is just around the corner. On August 12 from 11am-7pm, the Hudson Valley community and beyond will come together for a day filled with excitement and learning. This event is completely FREE! Join us for our biggest event of the year!

  • Parade: Experience the colors, music, and energy of a captivating parade showcasing the rich Caribbean heritage, a tradition steeped in history and symbolism.
  • Live Entertainment: Immerse yourself in the rhythms and melodies of the Caribbean with live performances that will leave you dancing all day long. This echoes the historical significance of music and dance as forms of resistance, identity, and unity during challenging times.
  • Basketball Tournament: Cheer on local teams as they compete in a spirited basketball tournament, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition, reminiscent of the spirit of community that binds traditional Caribbean celebrations.
  • Vendors: Explore an array of vendors offering unique products and delectable cuisine that embody the essence of Caribbean culture, connecting us to the roots of the Caribbean's culinary diversity.
